Bread & Sweets by Jennie was founded by Jennie Elmerfors. In 2007, Jennie was named Pastry Chef of the Year – as the first woman ever. Over the years, she has taken numerous courses in areas such as bread, chocolate, desserts, ice cream, and cakes, both in Sweden and abroad. She has also held her own courses in pastry making.
Today, Jennie no longer competes herself, but remains active in the industry. Currently, she sits on the jury for Pastry Chef of the Year and has also participated in the jury work for the Swedish Ice Cream Championship and various praline competitions.

Probably the best pastry shop in town, whether you want the usual (but tastier) fika treats or fancy cakes! Always fresh and high-quality pastries from Jennie and her colleagues.

Awesome delicious pastries and pralines. The service was above expectations even though it was almost packed at the time. Will definitely be back. Would probably consider visiting Västerås just for this.

This is truly high quality! Real chocolate, real butter, and delicious coffee. A bit annoying that there are no prices on anything. Many people are on a tight budget and it feels embarrassing to ask the price of everything. I wish they would change that. And not play commercial radio. Otherwise, recommended.

Opening day and I bought a couple of dangerously delicious saffron pastries to take with me. The full selection wasn't available yet, but this is going to be really good. Highly recommended!

Absolutely incredible café and bakery, we feel so lucky to live nearby! The croissants taste like Paris - fantastic craftsmanship by people who know what they are doing! If there is a Swedish Croissant Championship, I think Jennies should enter immediately!
